This is the 6th year of the North American Organic Brewers Festival. It was founded in 2003 by Craig Nicholls at Port Halling Brewing Company in Gresham, Oregon.  The festival took a two year hiatus during which Craig founded Roots Organic Brewing in Portland, Oregon.  Roots is the first certified all-organic brewery in Oregon.  In 2006, the festival was started up again and now serves as an important event to highlight the importance of the organic movement and how it dovetails closely with the craft brewing resurgance.
